Yoga ademhalingstechnieken

Driedelige ademhaling (Dirga Pranayama)

Plaats om te beginnen je duim op je rechterneusgat en adem in door je linkerneusgat.
Laat dan de duim los en sluit zachtjes het linkerneusgat met je wijsvinger, terwijl je uitademt vanuit rechts.

Wissel het patroon om door rechts in te ademen en links uit te ademen.
Doe dit ongeveer tien keer om het kalmerende effect te ervaren.

Adem van de leeuw (Simhasana)

Begin door te knielen, in kleermakerszit op de grond te zitten of comfortabel in een stoel te zitten.

Houd je adem zeven tellen in en adem dan acht tellen uit door je bekken.
