Het versterkt je Core Stability<\/h5>\n<p>Pilates staat bekend om het versterken van je buikspieren.<br \/>\nJe buikspieren zijn slechts \u00e9\u00e9n onderdeel van je core stability, die je ook wel je &#8216;kern&#8217; noemt. <\/p>\n<p>Dit is het centrum van waaruit al je bewegingen komen en betreft alle spieren zoals je bekkenbodem, transversus abdominis en middenrif die je romp versterken, ondersteunen en stabiliseren.<\/p>\n<p>Een sterke romp (ook wel &#8216;het krachthonk&#8217; genoemd) speelt ook een belangrijke rol bij het verminderen van pijn in de heupen en rug.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-61003690 elementor-section-full_width elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"61003690\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-extended\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-7a7cdf07\" data-id=\"7a7cdf07\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-29bd615c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"29bd615c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5>2. Het verhoogt je lichaamsbewustzijn<\/h5>\n<p>Pilates richt zich op je lichaam en geest en versterkt de proprioceptie: het vermogen om de positie van je eigen lichaam en lichaamsdelen waar te nemen.<\/p>\n<p>Door je aandacht naar binnen te brengen vergroot je je lichaamsbewustzijn en word je je meer bewust van positieve en negatieve emoties en pijn in je lichaam.<br \/>\nHierdoor leer je je lichaam beter kennen, kun je blessures voorkomen en leer je naar je lichaam te luisteren. <\/p>\n<h5>3.
