Santosa<\/h4>\n<p>Santosa is mijn favoriete Niyama.<br \/>\nIk herinner me een van mijn eerste yogalessen waarin de docent ons door dit gevoel van tevredenheid leidde over wat we hebben en wat we zijn. <\/p>\n<p>Santosa is accepteren wat er gebeurt en wat we niet kunnen veranderen.<br \/>\nHet is de dingen die we bezitten waarderen en ons niet gefrustreerd voelen omdat we meer willen hebben dan we echt nodig hebben.<br \/>\nSantosa is een verschuiving van focus.  <\/p>\n<p>De tevredenheid moet van binnenuit worden gezocht en alle gebeurtenissen zijn slechts kansen om te groeien, momenten om te schitteren.<\/p>\n<h4>3. Tapas<\/h4>\n<p>De 3e Niyama&#8217;s gaan over gezond blijven door te oefenen en het lichaam fit te houden, maar het is ook de geest van onderzoek.<\/p>\n<p>Het is de bereidheid om voortdurend te oefenen om meer over onszelf te weten te komen en de passie om volledig te leven.<br \/>\nJaren van consequente beoefening kunnen niet worden gebouwd op starre zelfdiscipline, maar op het verlangen om meer te weten. <\/p>\n<p>Tapas wordt yoga wanneer er geen gehechtheid is aan resultaten.<br \/>\nHet verschil tussen training en yogabeoefening is dat er in yoga geen winnaars en verliezers zijn. <\/p>\n<p>De reis is naar binnen gericht.<br \/>\nEr is geen gehechtheid aan de resultaten.<br \/>\nDit proces leidt ertoe dat we geleidelijk vrij worden van invloeden van buitenaf, vrij van de omstandigheden van onze geboorte, geslacht, familie, levenservaringen.  <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-66524b7e elementor-section-full_width elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"66524b7e\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-extended\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-4728e97c\" data-id=\"4728e97c\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39bf81a7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"39bf81a7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4>4. Svadhyaya<\/h4>\n<p>We zijn op aarde om te leren en daarom moeten we studeren.<br \/>\nDe 4e Niyama wordt vertaald als zelfstudie. <\/p>\n<p>Door ons voortdurend bloot te stellen aan schrijvers, dichters, zangers, films, acteurs, yogaleraren en iedereen die ons inspireert, blijven we onszelf verbeteren en worden we herinnerd aan wat mogelijk is.<\/p>\n<p>Svadhyaya gaat over ge\u00efnspireerd worden door kunst, literatuur en teksten van alle religies en door de mensen om ons heen die ons motiveren om beter te doen en te zijn.<\/p>\n<p>En om inspiratie ons vuur te laten aansteken, moet onze geest openstaan.<br \/>\nBestudeer elk boek of geschrift dat je helpt om te komen waar je heen wilt.<br \/>\nAls je iets vindt dat werkt, pas jezelf er dan op toe.  <\/p>\n<h4>5. Isvarapranidhana<\/h4>\n<p>De laatste Niyama is overgave aan God, alles loslaten om samadhi te bereiken, de vereniging met het goddelijke.<br \/>\nOvergave aan God betekent het oplossen van de scheiding tussen onszelf en het universum. <\/p>\n<p>God betekent iets anders voor ieder van ons.<br \/>\nHet kan Allah zijn, Boeddha, de natuur, menselijk potentieel, wetenschap, ons eigen hogere zelf.<br \/>\nHet maakt geen verschil.  <\/p>\n<p>Waar het om gaat is dat we voortdurend onze aandacht op het goddelijke vestigen door de aanwezigheid ervan overal te voelen, met een liefdevolle belangstelling niet alleen voor mensen maar ook voor andere wezens.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column we nodig hebben als we moeilijkheden in ons leven het hoofd moeten bieden.<\/p>\n<p>Door deze principes te volgen, hebben we de mogelijkheid om een beter leven te leiden.<\/p>\n<p>We liegen om lijden te vermijden.<br \/>\nWe brengen maanden, jaren door met geloven dat wanneer dat ding gebeurt, we eindelijk gelukkig zullen zijn.<br \/>\nWe waarderen de kleine overwinningen niet omdat we al geprojecteerd zijn op het volgende doel.  <\/p>\n<p>Er komt geen einde aan dit lijden totdat we een nieuwe manier van denken aannemen.<br \/>\nYoga biedt een nieuw perspectief.<br \/>\nAlles wat we
