Les origines du mode de vie védique

Le terme “védique” provient des Védas, les anciennes écritures de l’hindouisme, qui contiennent les enseignements de divers sadhus, yogis et gourous.

Le mode de vie védique s’inspire généralement de ces écrits, enseignant aux individus l’importance de l’équilibre et de la pleine conscience dans la vie.

Par essence, ce mode de vie exige que l’on pratique la compassion, l’amour de soi et la discipline, ce qui permet d’acquérir un sens plus profond de la raison d’être.

L’ayurvéda et le yoga sont les principaux représentants du mode de vie védique.
Mais si nous plongeons plus profondément dans les Védas, nous découvrirons probablement des sujets qui touchent à notre vie quotidienne.

Les 4 étapes du mode de vie védique

Les Védas divisent la vie en quatre étapes, appelées Ashramas, qui visent toutes au développement et à l’épanouissement personnel.

Le premier, appelé Brahmacharya, est axé sur la soif de connaissance.
Le second, Grihastha, est centré sur la famille et l’appartenance à une communauté.

Vanaprastha, ou la troisième étape de la vie védique, est destinée à la poursuite spirituelle, à la recherche de la connaissance de l’intérieur.

Enfin, le Sannyasa se concentre uniquement sur une vie entièrement spirituelle.
